Findcourses acquires Floodlight and UK adult learning segment of Hotcourses Group



IDP Connect, a business unit of IDP Education and formerly Hotcourses Group, has sold the brand and will be transferring the UK adult learning courses from and to, owned by EMG - Educations Media Group. 

The sale means that the Floodlight brand and domain ownership moves to EMG and its content will be redirected to for a period of two years. IDP Connect retains ownership of its other adult learning brand, but will redirect traffic and content from this site to for the same period. Over the coming weeks and months both companies will be working together to ensure the smooth transition of assets and communicating with clients and users directly on any changes that may impact them. 

The sale will allow to expand their reach in the adult education market, allowing users to seamlessly find, compare and book a wider range of courses both in the UK and globally.

The sale will also allow IDP Connect to concentrate efforts and resources on the continued development of its Higher Education products and services, whilst ensuring the continuation of Floodlight, a brand that has been a mainstay in personal development since 1936.
